Not expecting a package to be on my doorstep at all last week, I did not know what to expect when I opened it.  If I’d known it was going to be full of chicken blood and feathers and assorted viscera, I’d have left it sealed.

My first thought was to write it off as a tasteless prank, but apparently Westel, Liealia and Tywren have received similar packages.  We’re still trying to figure out what — if any — connection there may be between us… and so far we can identify commonalities between three of the four of us at best.  Additionally we’re not quite certain if Lia’s package was actually meant for her, for Stavier, or for the both of them.

Apparently Lia has met with Tywren’s troll friend Kan’yen and he was able to provide some greater insight… to Lia, at least.  I’m still rather in the dark.  It’s not that I don’t have enemies… it’s that this is none of their styles.

For now I’ve little choice but to wait and see.  It’s not my favorite course of action, but as with so many other things I’ve learned to adapt.
